Stream Mount Eerie's A Crow Looked At Me Via NPR First Listen

A Crow Looked At Me, a new record by Mount Eerie, is streaming in full on NPR First Listen. Mount Eerie’s Phil Elverum wrote and recorded these songs in the wake of the death of his wife, artist Geneviève Castrée, describing in remarkably honest language both the small moments and overwhelming emotions that surrounded her death. NPR says the album “is not only a stark portrait of grief but also a love story of 13 years,” and it has received early praise from the New York Times, Pitchfork, All Songs Considered, and The Guardian. The album will be released March 24th on P.W. Elverum & Sun.
