Nick Hakim Releases New Video from 'Green Twins' (ATO); Spring Tour Includes NYC Album Release Show

New York-based Nick Hakim just released the first official video from Green Twins, his debut full-length album out May 19th on ATO Records. Directed by Terence Nance, the video for his well-received and intimate first single “Bet She Looks Like You” just premiered and Hakim notes, "It's a music video that illustrates the scientific fact that god looks like Naima. Terence and I have been working together for a while now, we’ve made some music too. He’s like a brother." Pigeons & Planes adds, “it's an abstract but powerful experience.”

Currently on the road, Nick and his band stopped in Austin during SXSW where they played several showcases. Hakim filmed a pared down version of his song "The Want" from Green Twins as part of NPR Music’s South X Lullaby series. Check both videos out below.

This is a brand new song, recorded at home. It’s a terrifying time right now and I suppose one of the few consolations is the unifying quality of art and music. I’m happy to be part of that.
